  The police in Adamawa state have arrested a thirty-five-year-old man identified as Ishaya    The deceased, Franchise Albert and his 20-year-old wife, Libiyatu, had been having family issues since 2022 after she began having an extramarital affair with the suspect. e deceased was said to have warned both his wife and the suspect who resides at Luggure Gajere in Fufore LGA, but they refused to heed his warning. "My husband had warned us when he got wind of what we were doing. My husband and I fought over the issue as a result of which I left for my parents' house. Ishaya followed me and took me into the bush and had an affair after the warning. He slept with me 5 times". Libiyatu told the police after she was arrested   The culprit was said to have kept committing adultery with the victim's wife while assuring her that her husband would not get to know what they were doing.   "We later resolved our family issues with my husband and asked me to return to my matrim

Man Beats.. Wife. to Death In Rivers State

  A man identified as Michael Chidozie has been arrested by the Rivers State Police Command for allegedly beating his wife and strangling her to death in their home in Mile 4, near Port Harcourt.   Mrs Ufuoma Eriera Chidozie, a mother of three who hailed from Delta State, allegedly died after sustaining injuries following the assault in the early hours of Tuesday, March 5, 2024. She died leaving behind her sons aged 10, 7, and 5   A source in the area who pleaded anonymity told  Punch  that the victim's husband called his late wife’s brother to come that there was an emergency at their home but fled before his in-law arrived.   The source said: “When the late woman’s brother arrived, the house was open and quiet. He then went in only to find the lifeless body of his sister. He shouted and called out the name of the woman’s husband.   “But he was nowhere to be found and there was no trace of him. Since then they have been looking for him and even reported the matter to the police.”

Gossip! * Nigerian singer, Daniel Benson, popularly known as BNXN, has thrown a jab at his colleague Davido while responding to criticisms from his fans.   BNXN, formerly called Buju, has been at the top of the trending table as he shows how loyal he is to Burna Boy, who has recently been beefing Davido.   Today, March 7, an X user who is a fan of Davido said that BNXN is a "mid" singer in the Nigerian music industry.   The Davido fan wrote; "He (BNXN) is a mid abeg."   BNXN replied, throwing shade at the follower's fave (Davido).   BNXN wrote; "You be retard. Knowing your fave. You know suppose dey speak on anything regarding music. Fem!"     Subsequently, Davido deleted a tweet he made about BNXN a year ago where he disclosed that they both made a classic song together.   X users told BNXN that his song with Davido will no longer see the light of day.       And

Popular Hausa Actor Samanja Died At 85 Years

Gossip! *W Veteran Hausa drama actor, Usman Baba Pategi, popularly known as Samanja, is dead.    A statement released by one of his sons, Mohammad Usman, says the actor died in the early hours of Sunday, November 12, at a private hospital in Kaduna State after a prolonged illness.   The late Kannywood actor served in the Nigerian Army before retiring to work for the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) in Kaduna.   He was 84 years old. He is survived by two wives and twelve children.   His funeral prayer will be held at the Kabala Costain mosque in the Kaduna metropolis, in accordance with an Islamic injunction.   May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

You Shouldnt Have Hug Her, Frank Edoho Tells Mose Bliss

Frank Edoho has reacted to the trending video of actress Ekene Umenwa leaving her husband Ifeanyi Ogbodo on the dance floor to kneel before gospel singer Moses Bliss as he performed at her wedding reception.  In the video from the wedding which has now gone viral, Ekene is seen looking excited as soon as Moses Bliss made his entrance. She then leaves her husband and runs to Moses to kneel in front of him and hug his legs (see  here ).  Her groom eventually finds his way to her and pulls her up but she hugs Moses Bliss twice before joining her husband.  The video has received mixed reactions.  Reacting, Frank Edoho schooled the singer on what he should have done in such a situation.  The TV personality said: "I can't blame the singer for her reaction but he shouldn't have held her when she latched on to him like that. Direct the bride back to her husband and calm her euphoria. That's the etiquette."
