  Udie Ugwuaye Gift, the twin sister of Blessing Kona Udie, who was brutally  murdered  in Abuja has taken to Facebook to mourn her.   LIB reported that Blessing, a 400-level Microbiology student of the University of Cross River State, UNICROSS, and three other victims including musician Chop Boii, were  hacked  to death by unknown assailants in a residence in Gwarimpa area of the nation’s capital on Tuesday, September 27.    "It is very hard to believe you are no more.   young woman from Benue State identified as Pauline Ogbeche, was killed in a road accident in Ajah area of Lagos.   Her brother, Ogbeche Michael said the accident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, September 27, 2022, when some yet-to-be identified guys were engaged in car racing.    According to Michael, one of the drivers rammed his car into a coaster bus conveying his sister, some actors and crew members to their hotel.   The bus somersaulted. Pauline, who was asleep, was thrown from the vehicle. She landed on the road and died.    "On a sad note we lost Pauline (my sister) in the early hours of Tuesday.   Over twenty people have been burnt to death when a petrol-laden tanker exploded in Ankpa, the headquarters of Ankpa Local Government in Kogi State   The tanker reportedly lost control due to brake failure and fell on the bridge of Maboro River before exploding.   An eyewitness said the incident happened around 3:30pm on Wednesday, September 28.   The eye witness said: "It’s the second major disaster in Ankpa within this month. This one is the most terrible and horrible. Over 20 persons were burnt to death, some beyond recognition.   "Many who were crushed to death had their body parts scattered all over the place. The parts were picked in pieces and put in body bags."   The Kogi State Federal Road safety Corps (FRSC) Sector Commander, Stephen Dawulung, confirmed the incident, but said the number of casualty could not be established yet.   "My boys are there, putting the pieces together.   More details have emerged in the barbaric murder of Anpe Pankyes, better known as Chop Boii.   The singer, who hails from Plateau State but lives in Abuja, was found murdered earlier this week at a residence at 62 Crescent, Gwarimpa.   A friend took to Twitter to reiterate that Chob Boii was not the target but he was simply caught up in the wrong place.   Chop Boii, his producer Beerolings, and the producer's girlfriend Blessing were all found dead in the apartment on September 27.   The killing reportedly occurred on Monday, September 26.   According to the friend who gave an update on Twitter, the killers were allowed into the compound by the security guard because the producer has a mini studio in his living room and it was "routine" for people to come in.   In the house, the killers proceeded to attack everyone they saw.   Neighbours heard the victims scream and then heard people singing "Happy Birthday" so they dismissed the shouts as a rowdy birthday cel

  The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHEDC), has confirmed the electrocution of one of its members of staff in Calabar.   Fortunately, the staff survived.   The PHEDC staff was carrying out electrical works at Army Junction, on the Muritala Mohammed highway in Calabar, when he was electrocuted.   A video from the scene trending online shows spectators gathered at the foot of the electric pole to watch the electrocuted officer who was motionless at the top of the pole.    Officials are then seen positioning two ladders which two electrical staff climbed to get to the injured official and carry him down.     Mr Collins Igwe, Regional Manager, PHEDC,  said the staff was taken to the Navy hospital for treatment.   He was revived at the hospital and has now been discharged.   A friend of the electrocuted electrical staff gave an update on Facebook. He said he has spoken to his friend and he sounds "strong" following his discharge from the hospital.
