  The police in Adamawa state have arrested a thirty-five-year-old man identified as Ishaya    The deceased, Franchise Albert and his 20-year-old wife, Libiyatu, had been having family issues since 2022 after she began having an extramarital affair with the suspect. e deceased was said to have warned both his wife and the suspect who resides at Luggure Gajere in Fufore LGA, but they refused to heed his warning. "My husband had warned us when he got wind of what we were doing. My husband and I fought over the issue as a result of which I left for my parents' house. Ishaya followed me and took me into the bush and had an affair after the warning. He slept with me 5 times". Popular Hausa Actor Samanja Died At 85 Years

Gossip! *W Veteran Hausa drama actor, Usman Baba Pategi, popularly known as Samanja, is dead.    A statement released by one of his sons, Mohammad Usman, says the actor died in the early hours of Sunday, November 12, at a private hospital in Kaduna State after a prolonged illness.   The late Kannywood actor served in the Nigerian Army before retiring to work for the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) in Kaduna.   He was 84 years old. He is survived by two wives and twelve children.   His funeral prayer will be held at the Kabala Costain mosque in the Kaduna metropolis, in accordance with an Islamic injunction.   May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

You Shouldnt Have Hug Her, Frank Edoho Tells Mose Bliss

Frank Edoho has reacted to the trending video of actress Ekene Umenwa leaving her husband Ifeanyi Ogbodo on the dance floor to kneel before gospel singer Moses Bliss as he performed at her wedding reception.  In the video from the wedding which has now gone viral, Ekene is seen looking excited as soon as Moses Bliss made his entrance. She then leaves her husband and runs to Moses to kneel in front of him and hug his legs (see  here ).  Her groom eventually finds his way to her and pulls her up but she hugs Moses Bliss twice before joining her husband.  The video has received mixed reactions.  Reacting, Frank Edoho schooled the singer on what he should have done in such a situation.  The TV personality said: "I can't blame the singer for her reaction but he shouldn't have held her when she latched on to him like that. Direct the bride back to her husband and calm her euphoria. That's the etiquette."

  Nigeria’s highest-rated heavyweight, Efe Ajagba, successfully defended his WBC Silver Heavyweight Title by defeating Australian Joe Goodall in the 4th round via TKO, improving his record to 19-1 (14 KOs) on Sunday morning, November 5. In his second-ever headlining event, which took place at the newly opened Tahoe Blue Event Centre in Lake Tahoe, Efe secured his third consecutive win this year. Joe Goodall, who had previously beaten Ajagba in the amateurs, entered the bout with confidence. However, Ajagba set the tone with his jab and punches from the first round. 21 Years Student Sentence To 35 Years Jail For Armrobbery

Court Sacks Labour Party Darlington Nwokocha

  The Appeal Court which sacked the Labour Party lawmaker who represented Abia Central in the senate, declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Col Austin Akobundu (retd), as the duly elected senator in the February 25 polls.   The appellate court upturned the ruling of the National Assembly election petition tribunal that upheld Nwokocha’s victory earlier, and also dismissed the appeal brought by Anthony Agbazuere, a candidate of PDP, against LP’s House of Representatives member, Ginger Onwusibe.   The court upheld Onwusibe’s victory in the February 25 National Assembly poll and also agreed with the ruling of the tribunal, which stated that Agbazuere’s case lacked merit.   Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo who berated the National Airports Management Agency (NAMA) for its “obsolete and inadequate” air navigation facilities, said the Federal Government was getting concerned about the state of air navigation equipment at airports, saying many pending contracts involving obsolete equipment by NAMA would be cancelled.   Asides from pointing out that the accident involving the aircraft might be associated with poor landing equipment by NAMA, Keyamo has announced that the Federal Government has evolved measures to ensure proper coordination among the agencies.   A preliminary report on the incident issued on Saturday, October 4, by the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) revealed that the aircraft was still in the bush at runway 22.   It read;    “At about 0825hrs of 03/11/2023, an aircraft with registration number 5N-AMM that conveyed the incumbent Minister of Power, AbdulWaheed Adebayo Adelabu, and his entourage crash

3 Blind Men Arrested For Drugs Trafficking..

  Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA have arrested three blind men operating an illicit drug ring between Lagos and Kano.    A statement released by Femi Babafemi, spokesperson of the agency says another blind member of the syndicate is still at large.    Babafemi said the lid was blown off the group following the arrest of a blind suspect, Adamu Hassan, 40, along Gwagwalada expressway Abuja with 12kgs of skunk on his way from Lagos to Kano on Saturday 28th October.    Investigations, however, established that he was totally oblivious of the content of the bag handed to him to deliver in Kano. ‘’Follow up operations then led to the arrest of the arrowhead of the syndicate, Bello Abubakar, 45, who is also blind.   Operatives of the Cross River Police Command have rescued a former staff member of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, who was abducted by kidnappers.    Mrs. Caroline Bassey was rescued shortly after her abduction from her residence at Peter Ojie street, Off Winners Way, Calabar at 11:30am on Saturday, November 4, 2023.    It was gathered that the gunmen, who posed as customers seeking to rent chairs from Mrs. Bassey, tied up her security man and put him inside a refrigerator before one of the abductors drove out of the premises with the victim in her personal car.    However, luck ran out of the kidnappers as an alarm for help was raised.    As the kidnappers were driving out of her premises, a brave Good Samaritan blocked them.    In a bid to abandon their Camry vehicle, two of them jumped out of the vehicle to join their colleagues in the victim’s car as they were trying to reverse having noticed the blockage.   One of them wasn’t successful as the daring Good Sa

Gunmen Kills 4 NSCDC operatives in Rivers State ( Photos)

  Gunmen suspected to be pirates have killed four operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) around snake creek in Buguma, Asari Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.   It was gathered that the gunmen ambushed the operatives on the waterway in the early hours of Friday, November 3, 2023.    A video seen online shows the remains of the dead NSCDC packed in a boat floating at the river bank.   Three of the officers were identified as Abdulaziz Jimah, Chibuzo and Chief Priest.    It was gathered that two of the victims had already been buried according to Islamic rites, while the bodies of the others were deposited at an undisclosed hospital mortuary.   The State Command of the NSCDC is yet to react to the incident.   Meanwhile, some publications had reported that the incident happened in Bakana community, Degema Local Government Area of the state.    However, the leadership of Bakana community under the authority of His Royal Highness, King Lawrence O.O.
