  The police in Adamawa state have arrested a thirty-five-year-old man identified as Ishaya    The deceased, Franchise Albert and his 20-year-old wife, Libiyatu, had been having family issues since 2022 after she began having an extramarital affair with the suspect. e deceased was said to have warned both his wife and the suspect who resides at Luggure Gajere in Fufore LGA, but they refused to heed his warning. "My husband had warned us when he got wind of what we were doing. My husband and I fought over the issue as a result of which I left for my parents' house. Ishaya followed me and took me into the bush and had an affair after the warning. He slept with me 5 times".   The General Manager of LASTMA, Mr. Bolaji Oreagba, in a statement released on Sunday, March 26, 2023, by t he Director, Public Affairs Department, Mr. Adebayo Taofiq, said that the suspect was arrested at Olu Holloway Road by Alfred Rewane area of Ikoyi by the agency's Monitoring/Surveillance team led by Mr. Ashafa Moyosore (Zonal Head).   Mr. Oreagba confirmed further that the Agency carried out a special monitoring/Surveillance operations about the suspect and got him arrested in response to complaints from motoring public (Obinna Kingsley & Adewusi Adebola) via Lastma hotlines/social media handles.   Investigation conducted revealed that the arrested suspect has been extorting huge sums of money from motorists for various traffic offences ranging from seat-belt, obstructions, illegal overtaking and One-way at different locations around Lagos Island.   “It is disheartening getting complaints from road users particularly motorists on activities of these unscrupulous elements

Police Arrest Pastor For Killing Woman Inside His Church In Ondo

  The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a 37-year-old pastor, Kayode Salami, who allegedly raped and killed a nursing mother inside his church.    It was gathered that the deceased, Adejoke Oloje, came to the Oke-Irapada C&S Church, with her cousin, one Aderonke to worship for the first time.   It was further learnt that the deceased, a nursing mother, left home with her 11 months old baby in January, this year, to stay in the church where she met her untimely death.   Speaking with state owned newspaper, The Hope Metro, the mother of the deceased, Mrs. Deborah said Adejoke came to her in Idanre for a visit and suddenly left the house without any notice.   “I called her line to ask about her whereabouts, but she didn’t pick her calls. So, one day,  some people told me they saw her in Alade with her cousin, Aderonke. I collected Aderonke’s phone number from their grandmother and I called her, but she said Adejoke was staying in the church, not her place,” she narrated.   "

Police Stops Plans To Kill A 40 Years Old Man By Bandits ( Photos)

    A statement released by the command's spokesperson, SP Suleiman Yahaya, says the command received a tipoff of the plans to abduct Wakili from a good Samaritan. The command upon receiving the information designed a security ring around the target, engaged and luckily arrested the suspected kidnappers identified as Iliya Isa 24years, Bello Umar 25years, Nuhu Umar 20years and Usman Yahya  33years, all residents of Lainde Chitta village, Toungo Local government area.   boxer identified as Scott Eguabor, is on the run after he allegedly punched his brother-in-law, Sunday Okoro to death, in Benin City, Edo State.   It was gathered that Sunday was trying to resolve a marital crisis between the boxer and his wife, the deceased's immediate younger sister.   According to Nigerian Tribune, the incident occurred March 19, 2023, at Erie Street, off Sokponba Road, Benin City, one week after the boxer allegedly assaulted a Pastor following a disagreement over security levy.   Eguabor, a Coach in charge of Boxing in Edo State Ministry of Sports Council and Head of the State Security Network in Erie and its environs, allegedly fled his home after committing the crime, barely one month after the victim’s wife gave birth.    Okoro, a father of three children, was said to have responded to an invitation by his younger sister, who is a renowned Judoka in the same Sports Ministry with her husband, to settle a quarrel in their house.    An eyewitness,  Osahon Oko
