  The police in Adamawa state have arrested a thirty-five-year-old man identified as Ishaya    The deceased, Franchise Albert and his 20-year-old wife, Libiyatu, had been having family issues since 2022 after she began having an extramarital affair with the suspect. e deceased was said to have warned both his wife and the suspect who resides at Luggure Gajere in Fufore LGA, but they refused to heed his warning. "My husband had warned us when he got wind of what we were doing. My husband and I fought over the issue as a result of which I left for my parents' house. Ishaya followed me and took me into the bush and had an affair after the warning. He slept with me 5 times". Libiyatu told the police after she was arrested   The culprit was said to have kept committing adultery with the victim's wife while assuring her that her husband would not get to know what they were doing.   "We later resolved our family issues with my husband and asked me to return to my matrim

Police Stops Plans To Kill A 40 Years Old Man By Bandits ( Photos)

 

 

A statement released by the command's spokesperson, SP Suleiman Yahaya, says the command received a tipoff of the plans to abduct Wakili from a good Samaritan. The command upon receiving the information designed a security ring around the target, engaged and luckily arrested the suspected kidnappers identified as Iliya Isa 24years, Bello Umar 25years, Nuhu Umar 20years and Usman Yahya  33years, all residents of Lainde Chitta village, Toungo Local government area.

The Commission says investigation so far reveals that one of the suspects Usman Yahya is a Hunter and he supplied the two Single Barrels guns to be used in facilitating the crime. 

 

The Commissioner of police *CP Afolabi Babatola, while commending the giant stride of DPO Toungo and Hunters for gallantry performance and  professional conduct displayed leading to their arrest, also directed them to sustain the tempo as a strategy for Crime prevention. 


 

The CP calls on the populace to always inform the police of the whereabouts of Criminals and their hideouts especially those of questionable character. The police Boss equally assured the  Government and good people of Adamawa state, of the sustained effort of the police in protecting lives and property of the citizens.
