"My husband had warned us when he got wind of what we were doing. My husband and I fought over the issue as a result of which I left for my parents' house. Ishaya followed me and took me into the bush and had an affair after the warning. He slept with me 5 times". Assurance Don Wake

 Popular Nigerian singer, Davido, has got his fans speculating that he and his estranged fiancée, Chioma, are back together.


This comes after the singer in a video serving the rounds online stated that his hit song “Assurance” which he sang for Chioma is back again.

In the video, the singer who was seen with his crew members vibing to the song declared “E don wake up, e don wake up again.”

Reacting to the video, fans and followers opined that the singer and his ex-fiancée are back together, especially since they were recently spotted partying together at a club in London.

A while ago, Davido praised the culinary skills of the mother of his son, Chioma Avril a.k.a Chef Chi.

It can be recalled that the singer proposed to Chioma in 2019 and they were expected to get married in 2020, but the wedding never took place for reasons best known to them.

Following the delayed marriage, there were speculations that the duo were no longer an item and several rumours made rounds about their relationship.

At some point, the ‘omo baba olowo’ was rumored to be dating an American model named Mya Yafia, which further solidified the reports that he was no longer with Chioma.

However, they never confirmed nor denied reports of their separation.

Well, in recent times, the couple seems to be getting closer as they were spotted together at an event held few weeks ago.

This time, the 29-year-old singer took to the comment section of a post Chioma shared on her official Instagram page and hailed her culinary skills.

He commented, “The world’s greatest Chef”.

Gang Arrested For Kidnapping, Killing Man Days To His Wedding

Akanbi of the Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin has sentenced one Mohammed Kazeem Beiwa to death for the horrific murder of his next-door neighbour, Olokose Ojo Olushola in Ilorin a few days before his wedding.    Late Ojo, a staff at the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) unit of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, was kidnapped and murdered by Mohammed and his gang for ritual purposes in 2021.    The court also handed down 10 years imprisonment and a N100,000 fine each to his two other accomplices; Madu Jeremiah and Mohammed Chatta while the fourth defendant, Jimoh Abdulateef was set free by the Court for lack of diligent prosecution.   The four accused persons were facing prosecution before the court on eight count charges having been accused of criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, culpable homicide, illegal possession of firearms, and illegal removal of human parts.   The prosecution led by the former Attorney Genera...
