  The police in Adamawa state have arrested a thirty-five-year-old man identified as Ishaya    The deceased, Franchise Albert and his 20-year-old wife, Libiyatu, had been having family issues since 2022 after she began having an extramarital affair with the suspect. e deceased was said to have warned both his wife and the suspect who resides at Luggure Gajere in Fufore LGA, but they refused to heed his warning. "My husband had warned us when he got wind of what we were doing. My husband and I fought over the issue as a result of which I left for my parents' house. Ishaya followed me and took me into the bush and had an affair after the warning. He slept with me 5 times". The pair held their introduction and civil wedding on Friday, in an intimate ceremony attended by their close-knitted friends and family members only.

Following her engagement in January, Kemi Adetiba disclosed that some years back she prayed to receive an Oscar award in 5 years and now she has gotten a different kind of Oscar.

While appreciating her well-wishers for the love shown to her and her partner in a post she shared on her Instagram page, Kemi Adetiba said she should have been more specific with the kind of Oscar she wanted.

She wrote,

“Three years ago, when I asked God for an ‘OSCAR’ in 5 years, I guess I should have been more specific 😝

Thank you everyone for the overwhelming love and support shown to US in the last (almost) 24 hours. Neither of our phones have been able to keep a charge because of the various expressions of love you all have shown in person, over the phone or online.

It’s incredible… And in turn, @oscarhemanackah and I feel incredibly blessed.

Gang Arrested For Kidnapping, Killing Man Days To His Wedding

Akanbi of the Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin has sentenced one Mohammed Kazeem Beiwa to death for the horrific murder of his next-door neighbour, Olokose Ojo Olushola in Ilorin a few days before his wedding.    Late Ojo, a staff at the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) unit of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, was kidnapped and murdered by Mohammed and his gang for ritual purposes in 2021.    The court also handed down 10 years imprisonment and a N100,000 fine each to his two other accomplices; Madu Jeremiah and Mohammed Chatta while the fourth defendant, Jimoh Abdulateef was set free by the Court for lack of diligent prosecution.   The four accused persons were facing prosecution before the court on eight count charges having been accused of criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, culpable homicide, illegal possession of firearms, and illegal removal of human parts.   The prosecution led by the former Attorney Genera...
