  The police in Adamawa state have arrested a thirty-five-year-old man identified as Ishaya    The deceased, Franchise Albert and his 20-year-old wife, Libiyatu, had been having family issues since 2022 after she began having an extramarital affair with the suspect. e deceased was said to have warned both his wife and the suspect who resides at Luggure Gajere in Fufore LGA, but they refused to heed his warning. "My husband had warned us when he got wind of what we were doing. My husband and I fought over the issue as a result of which I left for my parents' house. Ishaya followed me and took me into the bush and had an affair after the warning. He slept with me 5 times". Omojuwa gets Engaged To His Girlfrie*nd (Photos)

 Nigerian author and social commentator, Japheth Omojuwa, is officially engaged to his girlfriend, Demilade Odu.

Omojuwa announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend on his verified Twitter account on Monday, April 25.

He shared adorable photos from their romantic proposal in 2021 and hinted that they would be tying the knot later this year.

“Here we go! Done deal. So, Q4 2021 I asked @demilade_odu to marry me. And Demi said, “Yes”. Having activated that full transfer, we will be making moves to seal a lifetime deal before the World Cup. Get ready! We’ll be counting on your support and prayers #Oluwademilade22”, he tweeted.

Taking to his Twitter handle on Tuesday, February 22, the social commentator said it’s okay for parents to see their children as their retirement plan because they sacrifice a lot for their children’s success.

“There is NOTHING wrong in your parents seeing you as their retirement plan. And some of you had better not forget the homes you came from just for twitter banter. Don’t get carried away. They sacrificed everything for your success. You are their retirement plan.” He wrote.

Gang Arrested For Kidnapping, Killing Man Days To His Wedding

Akanbi of the Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin has sentenced one Mohammed Kazeem Beiwa to death for the horrific murder of his next-door neighbour, Olokose Ojo Olushola in Ilorin a few days before his wedding.    Late Ojo, a staff at the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) unit of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, was kidnapped and murdered by Mohammed and his gang for ritual purposes in 2021.    The court also handed down 10 years imprisonment and a N100,000 fine each to his two other accomplices; Madu Jeremiah and Mohammed Chatta while the fourth defendant, Jimoh Abdulateef was set free by the Court for lack of diligent prosecution.   The four accused persons were facing prosecution before the court on eight count charges having been accused of criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, culpable homicide, illegal possession of firearms, and illegal removal of human parts.   The prosecution led by the former Attorney Genera...
