  The police in Adamawa state have arrested a thirty-five-year-old man identified as Ishaya    The deceased, Franchise Albert and his 20-year-old wife, Libiyatu, had been having family issues since 2022 after she began having an extramarital affair with the suspect. e deceased was said to have warned both his wife and the suspect who resides at Luggure Gajere in Fufore LGA, but they refused to heed his warning. "My husband had warned us when he got wind of what we were doing. My husband and I fought over the issue as a result of which I left for my parents' house. Ishaya followed me and took me into the bush and had an affair after the warning. He slept with me 5 times".  Nigerian entertainment journalist, Joey Akan took to his social media page earlier today to share a never-heard-before backstory about how superstar singer, Wizkid used to struggle to record his songs when he hadn’t made money.

According to Joey, due to lack of funds, Wizkid would normally hang around the studio owned by Knighthouse, which at the time housed Mo Cheddah.

The columnist said the Grammy-award winner often waited hours for other artistes who paid for sessions, but did not use the entire slot, so he ended up using the remaining time to record

”When Wizkid didn’t have money to record, he hung around the studio at Knighthouse, waiting for people to pay for sessions and not use the entire slot.

When he could get lucky, he used it. That’s how he could get any time on the mic. That’s the foundation of his studio time,”

Gang Arrested For Kidnapping, Killing Man Days To His Wedding

Akanbi of the Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin has sentenced one Mohammed Kazeem Beiwa to death for the horrific murder of his next-door neighbour, Olokose Ojo Olushola in Ilorin a few days before his wedding.    Late Ojo, a staff at the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) unit of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, was kidnapped and murdered by Mohammed and his gang for ritual purposes in 2021.    The court also handed down 10 years imprisonment and a N100,000 fine each to his two other accomplices; Madu Jeremiah and Mohammed Chatta while the fourth defendant, Jimoh Abdulateef was set free by the Court for lack of diligent prosecution.   The four accused persons were facing prosecution before the court on eight count charges having been accused of criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, culpable homicide, illegal possession of firearms, and illegal removal of human parts.   The prosecution led by the former Attorney Genera...
