  The police in Adamawa state have arrested a thirty-five-year-old man identified as Ishaya    The deceased, Franchise Albert and his 20-year-old wife, Libiyatu, had been having family issues since 2022 after she began having an extramarital affair with the suspect. e deceased was said to have warned both his wife and the suspect who resides at Luggure Gajere in Fufore LGA, but they refused to heed his warning. "My husband had warned us when he got wind of what we were doing. My husband and I fought over the issue as a result of which I left for my parents' house. Ishaya followed me and took me into the bush and had an affair after the warning. He slept with me 5 times". Libiyatu told the police after she was arrested   The culprit was said to have kept committing adultery with the victim's wife while assuring her that her husband would not get to know what they were doing.   "We later resolved our family issues with my husband and asked me to return to my matrim

Family Stage Protest Over Corpse Of Their Relative ( Photo)


 There was mild drama at the Ibadan Central hospital in Oyo state on Monday, October 31 following allegations that some parts of a corpse of a 91-year-old woman who passed away in the hospital were mutilated.

 

According to reports, the deceased identified as Rachel Oshuntolu was admitted in the hospital over a week ago. She however passed away on Sunday morning, October 30. Some children of the nonagenarian explained that they left the hospital at around 8pm in the evening of Sunday with the plan of taking the corpse to a morgue this morning. They said they were all surprised when they saw sprinkles of blood on the floor of the room where the corpse was kept, while some pounds of flesh on the woman’s forehead and arm had been removed.

 

Reacting to the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP. Adewale Osifeso said he was yet to be briefed on the issue. However, the divisional police officer of Iyaganku and his team were on ground to prevent the breakdown of law and order.
