  The police in Adamawa state have arrested a thirty-five-year-old man identified as Ishaya    The deceased, Franchise Albert and his 20-year-old wife, Libiyatu, had been having family issues since 2022 after she began having an extramarital affair with the suspect. e deceased was said to have warned both his wife and the suspect who resides at Luggure Gajere in Fufore LGA, but they refused to heed his warning. "My husband had warned us when he got wind of what we were doing. My husband and I fought over the issue as a result of which I left for my parents' house. Ishaya followed me and took me into the bush and had an affair after the warning. He slept with me 5 times". Please Forgive Us For Stealing The Electric Cables, Suspects Pleads

 Officials of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested two cable vandals attempting to cut armoured cables in Ikoyi. 

 

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this in a statement on Monday, October 31, 2022,

 

He said the suspects, Wasiu Olainukan (25) and Habib Rasaq (30), were arrested at about 3:45 a.m on Saturday, October 29, while excavating and cutting cables powering street lights in the area. 

 

Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects, who were arrested with a handsaw and cutting pliers, were labourers on Banana Island.

 

The Commander, Rapid Response Squad, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi has since transferred the suspects and exhibits to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Panti for further investigation and prosecution.
